I’m a videographer/photographer, and like many of you frustrated with the video orientation problem but can’t find a right software to rotate them. From vertical to horizontal or from horizontal to vertical. Occasionally I made this app. This app can set the orientation of metadata easily, and software like Premiere Pro, VLC player can read the rotation metadata and showing it as you wish. No need to rotate it in the editor or player software one by one anymore. Also, it is setting the metadata only, not re-encoding the file, so it is lossless and very fast.
MetaRota.exe is made with Exiftool, thanks to Phil Harvey, ChatGPT & Gemini to make this happen.
